Autism Evaluations

At Cady Laws Psychiatry, we provide evidence-based autism evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Assessments are individualized, strengths-based, and designed to help clarify social, behavioral, sensory, emotional, and communication differences.

Evaluations may include:

  • Clinical interview

  • Developmental and psychosocial history

  • Parent/caregiver questionnaires

  • Direct observation

  • Review of prior records

  • DSM-5-TR diagnostic assessment

  • ADOS-2 when clinically indicated

  • Personalized recommendations for school, work, home, and therapy supports

We evaluate:

  • Children, teens, and adults

  • High-masking individuals

  • Females with subtle presentations 

  • Individuals with ADHD, anxiety, OCD, sensory concerns, or emotional regulation difficulties

Autism Evaluation Process

Step 1: Intake Appointment

Comprehensive review of developmental history, current concerns, functioning, and goals for evaluation.

Step 2: Autism Assessment

Direct assessment and observation, including ADOS-2 when appropriate.

Step 3: Feedback & Recommendations

Review of findings, diagnostic impressions, strengths, and individualized recommendations.
